God has seen everything that will happen from eternity, including when and how He will create all creatures. He also foresaw all the prayers that would be offered and which ones He would hear.
A saint remains composed even in the face of torment, and instead of seeking revenge, prays for the well-being of his adversaries, ultimately winning them over.
What is prayer but the expansion of yourself into the living universe?
