I promise that you will once again be the queen of kings!

I ordain the good of the worlds by dividing my own self.

Vasudeva said, 'It's clear that everything is fine with your brother and his friends. Don't grieve; some minor misfortune will occur in another direction.'

Do not give in to grief so much. This is the way of all brave and unretreating heroes, especially Kshatriyas, for whom battle is their profession.

Oh wise one, this is the goal ordained by the authors of our scriptures for unretreating heroes engaged in battle. Death is certain for those heroes who do not retreat.

Oh descendant of Bharata, this is what all the brave desire: to die in battle, facing their enemies.

Vasudeva said, 'Do not grieve for your son, all creatures have a single end ordained by time.

The one who speaks the truth is righteous. There is nothing higher than truth.

The holy one said, 'Get up, Gandhari, don't let grief consume you. This devastating war is a result of your actions. Your son Duryodhana was evil, jealous, and extremely arrogant.

The person who grieves for what has already happened will only experience more sorrow. By giving in to grief, one doubles their suffering.

You are devoted to me and always follow what is right. With a pure heart, you are self-controlled and always practice penance and charity.

Then, speak words of truth filled with morality and Yoga to Yudhishthira, who is firm in truth but whose knowledge has been clouded by grief due to the slaughter of his relatives, and quickly dispel his sorrow.

You are Rishis who have conquered anger, brought your senses under complete control, and are endowed with the wealth of penance, making you like gods in power.

I will discuss this topic with you after bowing to Kapardin. King, listen to me as I recite the Sata-rudriya, which I repeat every morning with restrained senses.

Vasudeva said, "Oh scion of Bharata's race, salvation is not attained by renouncing external things, but only by giving up things that cater to the flesh (body)."

I exist within all creatures, and all creatures exist within me; know this.

You are the ultimate goal of all living beings. This is my firm conviction.

You are known to me as the Supreme Being, the embodiment of knowledge and bliss. You are seated in the hearts of all beings, witnessing the minds of all, and beyond the veil of illusion.

We have never heard that immortality can be achieved by avoiding battle.

Therefore, it is the duty of men to attack their enemies according to the principles laid down in the ordinance.
