The Master

You are mine, of the same essence as the father and the son.

Mother has told me that you have to do some of Her work. You will have to teach the Bhagavata, God's word, to humanity. The Mother keeps a Bhagavata scholar bound to the world!

He is an unfortunate wretch. As a householder, one has duties to fulfill and debts to pay, including those to the gods, ancestors, rishis, and to one's wife and children.

God alone is the real substance, and everything else is an illusion. If one desires, they can realize God, but instead, they are consumed by the desire for wealth and worldly pleasures.

Bhakti, or devotion, is the one essential thing. Nobody can know God through mere reasoning. I yearn for the love of God.

Everything that occurs, happens through God's power. He has granted you your esteemed position, which is why you have become a judge.

Once the initial turmoil of divine passion subsides, one gradually comes to understand that God alone is the ultimate good, the eternal essence, and that everything else is fleeting.

One person's spiritual practice can benefit many. It's also good to remain in a state of divine play after achieving a higher state of consciousness.

The Master told a devotee, "Through devotion, you can naturally control your senses. As your love for the divine grows, worldly pleasures become less appealing. On the day a couple loses their child, can they still find joy in physical pleasures?"

The Master told a devotee, "Constantly repeat God's name. This will purify you from sin, lust, and anger, and your desire for bodily pleasures will disappear."

Chant the name of Hari, God, morning and evening, clapping your hands. This will help your sins and afflictions leave you. Just as birds fly away when you clap under a tree, evil thoughts will fly away from your body when you chant God's name while clapping.

Allow the disease to run its course and let the body suffer, but keep your mind in a state of bliss.

Spiritual practice is necessary to experience God. I had to go through intense discipline, practicing many austerities under the bel tree, crying out to the Divine Mother to reveal herself to me.

In a state of deep meditation, one forgets the world. When I come back to a normal state, I ask the Divine Mother to cure me of this, so I can interact with people.

जितना समय तक एक व्यक्ति यह महसूस करता है कि यह वह है जो ध्यान करता है, वह Ādyāśakti के अधिकार क्षेत्र में है। शक्ति को स्वीकार किया जाना चाहिए।

The Master said that people become generous and simple-minded only through intense self-discipline. God can only be attained with a simple mind.

The Master asked Keshab Chandra Sen, "Why do the members of the Brahmo Samaj focus so much on God's creations, saying, 'Lord, you created the sun, moon, and stars'?"

The Master would say, 'I accept everything - superconscious state, waking state, dreams, deep sleep, Brahman, Shiva, creation - I accept all of these, the different states or manifestations of the one Being.'

If God is the only reality, how did this world with all its diversities and inequalities come into being? The Master replied, 'It's His play, His Lila!'
