Sahadeva

According to the ordinance, deities and asuras pour clarified butter into you during sacrifices every day. May the rays of truth emanating from you during those sacrifices purify me.

The word 'mine' is synonymous with death, while the word 'not mine' is equivalent to eternal Brahma.

Those who consider all creatures as their own selves are freed from the great fear of destruction.

Purifying himself and touching water, Sahadeva addressed Agni, saying, 'I bow to you, whose path is always marked with smoke. My efforts are all for you. You sanctify everything and are the personification of sacrifice.

Simply giving up external possessions does not lead to success, and even letting go of mental attachments does not guarantee it.

If the soul is indeed indestructible, then killing the bodies of creatures does not constitute slaughter.

O Agni, grant me contentment, prosperity, knowledge, and joy now.
