Lord Krishna

Whenever righteousness declines, I incarnate myself. I am reborn from time to time to protect the virtuous, destroy evil-doers, and establish righteousness.

Perform all actions, dwelling in union with the Divine, renouncing attachments, and balanced evenly in success and failure.

Lord Krishna says in the Gita: However men approach me, I welcome them in the same way, for the path they take is mine.

The main teaching of the Gita is to not be attached to actions. Lord Krishna tells Arjuna, 'Work constantly, but do not expect rewards.'

Perform actions, O Dhananjaya, while being in union with the Divine, having renounced attachments, and being balanced in success and failure. Equilibrium is Yoga.

Lord Krishna says in the Gita, it's better to do one's own duty, even if it lacks merit, than to perfectly do someone else's duty.

Let a man lift himself up by himself, not degrade himself. He alone is his own friend, he alone is his own enemy.

Even if you are the greatest sinner, you can still overcome sin through wisdom.

The one who can see inaction within action and action within inaction is truly wise. They remain harmonious even while performing all actions.

One who is content with whatever they receive without effort, free from dualities, without envy, and balanced in success and failure, remains unbound even while acting.

Your business is with the action only, never with its fruits.

Lord Krishna says in the Gita, 'Arjuna, you and I have had many births before; I know them all, but you don't.'

Lord Krishna pointed out to Arjuna that his physical body was not his true self. His physical body was perishable, whereas his true self, the spirit, is eternal and formless.

Whenever there is a decline in righteousness, I will manifest myself to restore it.

You have the right to perform your duties, but not to be attached to the outcome. Do your duty to the best of your ability and leave the rest to a higher power.

The one who seeks happiness within will find joy and light within and will attain salvation, living in God's domain.

God is formless and all-pervading, and cannot be harmed by weapons or fire.

See me in everything, surrender yourself to me, do all actions for my sake, cut off all sorts of attachments, have perfect unswerving devotion to me, and sing my glories.

Lord Krishna says in the Gita: 'Regardless of how people approach me, I welcome them, for the path they take is mine.'

Meditate on me with love, as a son and as the Supreme Being, and you will attain eternal bliss and immortality.
