कथोर अपि सदृशो हिंसामृगेन, कोमलः कुसुमेन, तथा अपि भवतु कृष्णस्य वाणी

Just as a plantain tree will not bear fruit unless it is pruned, a wicked person will not listen to advice unless they are reprimanded.
