Purify your heart, control your mind, and lead a virtuous life to attain Nirvana, emancipation, or eternal bliss.

The essential thing is not to discuss the ultimate truth, but to follow the path that leads people out of pain and suffering to a state of eternal bliss and immortality.

Buddha demands that you have faith in your own self and your inner strengths. Without this faith, you cannot achieve anything.

Thus, it was possible for the Buddha to attain the state of nirvana and yet act powerfully in the world, impersonal in his inner consciousness, and in his actions, the most powerful personality that we know of as having lived and produced results on earth.

He did not debate the existence or non-existence of God, but instead showed compassion to others throughout his life.

A hawk was about to eat a bird, so Buddha saved the bird by giving the hawk his own flesh.

If someone has no wealth, what does their renunciation mean? After attaining enlightenment and experiencing Nirvana, Buddha visited his home and encouraged his family to adopt a life of renunciation.

Do not blindly accept something just because you've heard it from others or because it's an old tradition that has been passed down through many generations.

Buddha analyzed all experiences and the world process as it appears to us, with a scientific mindset. He discovered that everything is constantly changing and impermanent.
