Acquiring righteousness is better than accumulating worldly wealth.

The merits of giving away a Kapila cow daily for 12 years, or worshiping deities monthly, or donating thousands of cows in Pushkara, are surpassed by the merits of gratifying a guest.

If someone rises at dawn, takes water and Kusa grass, washes a cow's horns with it in a cow-pen, and lets the water drip on their head, they are considered to have bathed in all the sacred waters of the three worlds, which are revered by the wise and visited by Siddhas and Charanas.

This knowledge should be shared only with those who have faith or a pure heart.

These four types of people - those without faith, the proud, those who have killed a Brahmin, and those who have violated their teacher's trust - should not be spoken to.
