Deluded by these three states made of the guṇas, this whole world fails to recognize me, who am beyond them and imperishable.

Brahman is beyond knowledge and ignorance, virtue and vice, merit and demerit, cleanliness and uncleanliness.
The ego gives rise to ignorance and evil.
His spirit is clouded, and he does not know he has strayed. Since he erred out of ignorance, I forgive him and allow him to enter the highest place.
Whoso heareth Me shall not be confounded.
